Funcionalidad

Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction

Emits a ping for players with rare sprites nearby, but marks you on the map.

Ping radius increases at each Level Up: 40m -> 50m -> 60m -> 70m -> 80m

Peely pings nearby players carrying rare sprites — great for collection hunting. The tradeoff: it marks you on THEIR map too. Use in Squads where your team can ambush pinged targets. Avoid in high-skill Solo lobbies where the self-mark gets you killed. Gummy's 20% bonus Sprite Dust on extraction makes it the best variant for collection grinding — equip it when farming new sprites.

PEELY GUIDE

This guide covers the base Peely sprite's abilities and strategy. The Gummy Peely variant shares the same core mechanics with an additional theme bonus.

The Sprite Radar — With a Catch

Peely is Fortnite's only sprite-finding sprite. It emits a ping that detects players carrying rare sprites nearby, revealing their approximate direction and distance. The catch: activating the ping also marks YOUR position on the map for those same players. It's a high-risk, high-reward information tool — you find sprite carriers, but they know you're hunting them.

Ping Radius and Scaling

The detection radius scales with levels: 40m → 50m → 60m → 70m → 80m. At Level 5, 80 meters covers a significant area — roughly the distance of two POI buildings. Any player within that radius carrying a rare (Epic+) sprite will be pinged on your screen with a directional indicator. At the same time, those players receive a notification that someone is scanning for sprites.

Collection Hunting Strategy

Peely is designed for sprite collectors, not combat players. Its primary use case: finding and eliminating players who are carrying sprites you need for your collection. Land in busy areas, activate the ping, identify who's carrying rare sprites, then push them for the sprite drop. This is the fastest way to target specific rare sprites without relying on Sprite Chest RNG.

The Self-Marking Downside

The map marking is Peely's defining weakness. In competitive or high-skill lobbies, marking yourself invites aggressive players to push you. In casual lobbies, most players won't react to the marker. Evaluate your lobby skill level before deciding whether Peely's intel is worth the risk of being hunted yourself.

Best Game Modes

Peely shines in large-player modes (Squads, large team LTMs) where more players means more potential sprite carriers in range. In Solos, the self-marking risk is higher because you have no teammates to cover you if someone pushes the mark. In Squads, your team can set up ambushes on pinged players while you act as the scanner.
