Fortnite's Loot Piñata Sprite

Burnt Peanut is the only Mythic sprite that directly improves your loot quality. Every elimination has a chance to drop additional items — and at Level 5, that chance is 60% with a 10% chance for Mythic-rarity drops. In a high-kill game, you'll see extra loot cascading from defeated players, sometimes including weapons and items that don't normally drop from eliminations.

Mythic Loot Drops: How They Work

The "Goop!" effect triggers after you eliminate a player. A secondary loot drop appears alongside their normal death loot. At lower levels, these tend to be common/uncommon items. At Level 5, the 10% Mythic chance means roughly 1 in 10 kills can produce a Mythic weapon or item — game-changing in competitive scenarios where Mythic access usually requires specific POI control.

Best Game Modes for Burnt Peanut

Burnt Peanut shines in Squads and Duos where your team collectively gets more eliminations. In a 4-player squad averaging 15 kills total, you'd expect ~9 bonus loot drops at Level 5, with 1-2 potentially being Mythic. Solos also work for aggressive players — if you're getting 8+ kills, the loot advantage compounds heavily into late game.

Rarity and Acquisition

As a Mythic sprite, Burnt Peanut is extremely rare in Sprite Chests. It primarily spawns in Relic Chests — a special chest type with better loot tables. Summoning costs 7,500 Sprite Dust, which represents significant grinding. Most players will need dozens of hours of gameplay to accumulate enough Dust for a guaranteed summon.

Is Burnt Peanut Worth the Rarity?

The community is split. Some players call it the best Mythic because it generates value every single game (unlike Zero Point which is situational). Others argue the randomness makes it unreliable — 60% at max level still means 4 out of 10 kills give nothing extra. Our verdict: Burnt Peanut is exceptional in squads, good in solos, and always exciting even when the odds don't hit.
