Reload-Exclusive Mythic Sprite
The John Wick sprite is exclusive to Fortnite Reload — it does NOT spawn in regular Battle Royale or Zero Build chests. To get it, play Reload mode and open chests until it drops, or eliminate an enemy who has it equipped (visible on their Back Bling). Once extracted in Reload, you can use it in any game mode.
How to Extract in Reload
Reload mode has no Extraction Sites. Instead, find a Reload Portable Extractor — a Legendary-rarity item that drops randomly from chests (takes one inventory slot). You need both the sprite AND the extractor in your inventory to permanently add it to your collection. Keep opening chests even after finding the sprite.
Ability: Knock Reveals
Knocking a player reveals other enemies nearby. When you down an opponent, surrounding players are marked on your screen for a duration that scales with levels (3 seconds at Level 1, up to 5 seconds at Level 5). This is an information-warfare ability that punishes grouped enemies — down one, and you instantly know where the rest of the squad is hiding.
John Wick vs Grim: Info Sprites Compared
Both reveal enemy positions, but with opposite triggers. Grim marks attackers who damage YOU (defensive). John Wick marks others when YOU knock someone (offensive). Grim rewards getting shot; Wick rewards getting kills. For aggressive players who land first shots consistently, Wick is superior. For support players who draw fire for their team, Grim is better.
The Free John Wick Skin Quest
A Sprite Contract quest launched alongside the sprite: eliminate 10 players with the John Wick sprite equipped to unlock a free John Wick skin. This works across multiple matches and any game mode (once extracted). Many players in Reload will be carrying it for this quest — making it easier to find by eliminating them.
