Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction
Siphon some health and shields when you eliminate an opponent.
Increases in power at each Level Up: 10 Healing -> 15 Healing -> 20 Healing -> 25 Healing -> 30 Healing per elimination
Demon rewards kill-chaining. The HP/shield siphon means your first kill heals you for the second fight, which heals you for the third. In hot-drop scenarios, Demon turns a 50HP player into a full-health snowball machine. Useless if you avoid combat. Gummy's 20% bonus Sprite Dust on extraction makes it the best variant for collection grinding — equip it when farming new sprites.
This guide covers the base Demon sprite's abilities and strategy. The Gummy Demon variant shares the same core mechanics with an additional theme bonus.
Demon's siphon ability — healing HP and shields on every elimination — is the definition of "win more." Aggressive players who push fights back-to-back never need to stop for healing items. At Level 5, you restore 30 HP/Shield per kill, which is equivalent to a mini potion after every fight. In squads or duos where you're racking up multiple kills per engagement, Demon keeps you permanently topped off.
Demon rewards one specific playstyle: aggression. If you're the type of player who lands hot, pushes every gunshot you hear, and aims for double-digit kill games, Demon is your sprite. The siphon effect compounds — each kill heals you for the next fight, creating a snowball where you never need to loot healing items. This frees up an inventory slot that would otherwise hold shields or medkits.
The healing per elimination scales: 10 → 15 → 20 → 25 → 30 HP/Shield across Levels 1-5. At Level 1, 10 HP is underwhelming — barely noticeable. The sprite really comes online at Level 3 (20 HP), where one kill fully negates a body shot's worth of damage. At Level 5, two quick kills restore 60 effective health — that's more than a big pot.
This is the most common comparison. Boss gives you a permanent HP/Shield increase (always active, no condition). Demon gives you healing but only when you get kills. For casual players or those who average 1-3 kills per game, Boss is safer — you always get value. For aggressive players averaging 5+ kills, Demon provides far more total healing across a match than Boss's one-time buff.
Demon spawns rarely in Sprite Chests — it's an Epic-rarity sprite with a low natural encounter rate. Your most reliable path is summoning with 3,000 Sprite Dust once you've discovered it. Farm Sprite Dust through extractions and use the Gummy variant if you want accelerated Dust income while keeping Demon's siphon effect.
