Holofoil Batman

This guide covers the base Batman sprite's abilities and strategy. The Holofoil Batman variant shares the same core mechanics with an additional theme bonus.

How to Get the Batman Sprite

Unlike most sprites, Batman isn't found in Sprite Chests or summoned with Dust. To get the Batman sprite, you must find and defeat Catwoman in a duel near Frosted Flats. She spawns on the sandy beach area east of Frosted Flats — look for the NPC icon on your minimap. Interact with her and select "Challenge Catwoman" to initiate the fight.

The Catwoman Duel

Catwoman fights back with a loadout that includes mid-range weapons. She has approximately 200 HP and will strafe/dodge during the fight. Bring at least a blue AR or shotgun — don't challenge her with just a gray pistol. Other players may also be heading to the same NPC, so be prepared for third-party interference. The duel area is an open beach with limited cover.

Bat Cape Ability

Defeating Catwoman drops a random Batman sprite variant. The Batman sprite's ability grants you the power to launch into the air and deploy the Bat Cape — effectively giving you on-demand vertical mobility and a gliding redeploy. This is powerful for rotations, escaping fights, and gaining high ground quickly without building.

Farming Variants

Catwoman respawns every match, so you can farm her repeatedly for different Batman variants (Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, Holofoil). The variant you receive is random. For collectors, this means running the same Catwoman duel across multiple games until you've collected all themed versions. Land Frosted Flats, grab a weapon, challenge Catwoman, extract, repeat.

Batman Sprite Tier Ranking

Batman's Bat Cape ability is strong — on-demand vertical mobility without using a build or consumable item. Community rankings place it in the upper-mid tier alongside Dream and Duck. The main limitation is that it competes with Ghost and Demon for your sprite slot, and those combat-focused abilities tend to win more fights than mobility does.
