JUST RELEASED

Newly Released Sprites This Week

These sprites were released in the latest update and are now available in-game.

The Runners season sprite roster keeps expanding — Epic drops new sprites and variants every few patches. The latest wave brings two brand-new base sprites: Llama (Legendary, upgrades weapons from ammo boxes) and Peely (Legendary, pings nearby rare sprite carriers). Both launched with full variant lineups.

Ironmouse also joined as a Mythic Icon Series sprite — an Item Shop exclusive that passively regenerates health when you're low. Meanwhile, John Wick finally went live after months of being datamined, with a confirmed ability that reveals enemies near knocked players. Several previously unreleased variants also dropped: Cube Zero Point, Quack Zero Point, Holofoil Zero Point, Holofoil Grim, and the Quack Water/Earth/Fire variants.

Further down you'll find everything still sitting in the game files but locked — remaining Gem, Cube, Quack, and Rift variants that haven't been switched on yet. Some of these have been in the files since launch with no release date announced, so treat them as "eventually" rather than "soon."

New Sprites — FAQ

What are the newest sprites in Fortnite right now?

The most recent additions are Llama (5 variants), Peely (5 variants), Ironmouse (Mythic Icon Series), and the official release of John Wick. Several Cube, Quack, and Holofoil variants also went live in the same patch.

When do new sprites come out in Fortnite?

There's no fixed schedule. Epic has released new sprite batches alongside major version updates (v33.10, v33.20, etc.) which land roughly every 2–3 weeks. New sprites can drop as base characters, variant packs, or Icon Series shop exclusives.

How do I find new sprites in Fortnite?

Most new sprites appear in Sprite Chests the moment the patch goes live. Icon Series sprites (Ironmouse, Pollo) are Item Shop exclusives. Batman requires defeating Catwoman in a duel. Summoning with Sprite Dust is the reliable path if you want a specific one. Check our Location Map for chest farming routes.

Are there more sprites coming to Fortnite?

Yes — the game files still contain unreleased variants across Gem, Cube, Quack, and Rift themes. Some have complete stat blocks and could drop any patch. We update this page within hours of every new release.
